Who's running the show?

Break Out Voices is created and led by Kate Fletcher; a singer, pianist and fiddle player who trained in music at the University of Leeds. Having appeared on stage as a singer and musician since she was a child and worked in creative roles in media throughout her adult life, Kate will bring a sense of fun, enthusiasm and experience to every practice.

Kate is perhaps best known locally as a member of popular Bristol band The Vamos Band. However, her singing experience is truly wide-ranging and eclectic encompassing starring in Off-West End musical theatre, A Cappella singing and musical direction for large-scale shows.

Over the years, Kate has performed all over Europe in everything from folk ensembles to orchestras, choirs and even rock bands. She has pulled all of those influences together to create something truly unique with Break Out Voices.
